This took ages.
I have had the idea for this book for what “seems like” years. That’s in quotes because it has actually been years and I’m getting sick of myself.
That’s my current photo. That’s me. My name is Amy Kalinchuk and I’m writing this book, How to Write, because I want to help people to learn how to write in English and have their words look good on the page. I want people to be understood.
I want people to have a voice.
That probably sounds strange because this is all about writing words, not speaking them. But spoken words are ethereal; written words are forever.
That’s what I want. I want people to learn that writing means that somehow we are eternal.
Somehow.
